What's new in Client Security Standard/Premium?
- New
updatable sidegrade module – The sidegrade module that removes
conflicting software has been changed to provide a better user
experience during the installation. The latest version of the sidegrade
module is now downloaded from F-Secure Policy Manager or the F-Secure
backend during the product installation process. The sidegrade
functionality has been improved to uninstall F-Secure products of other
business distribution channels (PSC and PSB), and it can optionally
restart the computer during installation
- IP
ranges for Browsing protection – With the Trusted Hosts table that has
been added to Browsing Protection policies, you can specify lists of
hosts (internal servers) that are considered trusted and safe to visit
without consulting Security Cloud (previously known as Real-time
Protection Network). This table supports both IPv4 and IPv6 IP addresses
and ranges.
- Application
whitelist for F-Secure Network filter – You can use the application
whitelist to define commonly used applications as safe. F-Secure Network
Filter will not monitor these applications. The whitelist supports full
path and SHA-1 hash methods.
- You can easily and affordably upgrade to Client Security Premium. Please contact your local reseller for an upgrade.
